Alexander Sinsel, Dipl. Phys.
Alexander Sinsel studied physics and computer science at the University of Heidelberg in Germany and received the degree of Diplom Physiker in December 2003.
From April 2004 to February 2005 he did postgraduate studies in neurocomputing at the Institute of Neurocomputing - a central and independent research institution at Bochum University in Germany at that time headed by Prof. Christoph von der Malsburg and Prof. Gregor Schöner. In January 2006 he concluded his thesis on self-organized Grid computing inspired by simple models of cortical dynamics.
Since March 2005 he is researcher/PhD. student in the Parallel and Distributed Systems Group headed by Prof. Thomas Ludwig at the Computer Science Department of the University of Heidelberg.
